Synopsis：

That letter was the beginning of everything.Minami Kazuno（Ai Hashimoto）, a horror novelist struggling with writer’s block, receives a letter from her former middle school classmate, Asako Yaguchi. In it is a disturbing confession: ever since Asako went to a ruined site rumored to be a "haunted spot" for a test of courage, inexplicable abnormalities have continued to occur. Hoping to gather material for a story, Minami reunites with Asako and meets the others who were with her at the time—Yuko Wakao, Atsushi Onodera, and Masato Tasaki.However, starting from that meeting, an unidentifiable shadow begins to creep around Minami as well. Daily life becomes slightly distorted, and eventually, one person meets a sudden death while the others are driven toward madness. The inexplicable events chain together, transforming into a terror from which there is no escape. To find the truth, Minami seeks help from Tsukasa Yoshimura, a mountain journalist she knows well. Their investigation reveals the existence of an incredibly deep taboo hidden within the mountain they stepped into so carelessly: "Iwai-yama."It is a realm where humans are never meant to set foot. Having unknowingly crossed the boundary, they have already been drawn to "the other side." Eventually, Minami decides to head toward the root of the curse along with Asako and the others. Those who enter can never return—The Mountain is demanding its price.
